and then go to "My Account" (also top right) by clicking on your username (the screenshot below was made using a test account):
Click on "Security":
Click on the red pencil edit button to change your password:
And then you can set your password:
It can take a while for your new password to cascade through all of our IT Services.
For example your email software might continue to function for up to 30 minutes, until you see a
warning message and need to enter your new password. With Wifi Eduroam it can be even longer
until you need to enter your new password.
If the above does not work, e.g. an error message or browser timeout then you can try this:
At top left click on “Change Password” and follow the instructions.
Password Reset
It is currently not possible to reset your password via the "Forgot Password" link on the GWDG sign-in screen, please contact AEI IT Support who will reset your password for you.
